Position Score: This measures where the MACD line lies relative to zero. It is computed using the formula 100 / (1 + exp(latestMACD)) so that very negative MACD values yield high scores, while positive values yield low scores.
Gap Trend Score: A 3rd-degree polynomial regression is applied to the last 6 MACD and Signal values to predict the 7th values. The difference between the predicted gap and the current gap is then mapped through a logistic function to produce the gap trend score.
Momentum Score: Similarly, a regression is applied to the MACD histogram over the last 6 periods to predict the next histogram value. The resulting delta is transformed via a logistic function, indicating whether momentum is increasing (bullish) or decreasing (bearish).
